High-Quality Ceramic Crucibles for Precious Metal Melting

Amerio Thick-Walled High-Refractory Ceramic Crucibles are designed for melting gold, silver, platinum and other precious metals and their alloys. Manufactured from a high-refractory ceramic composition of aluminium oxide (Al₂O₃), zirconium oxide (ZrO₂) and fused quartz (SiO₂), they offer excellent heat resistance and durability for professional goldsmithing and jewellery workshops.

Excellent Thermal Shock Resistance

The thick-walled construction provides durability, while the specialised ceramic composition offers excellent resistance to thermal shock and rapid temperature changes. These crucibles are suitable for continuous use at temperatures up to 1600°C and short-term exposure up to 2000°C, making them a versatile choice for precious metal melting applications.

Clean Melting Without Contamination

The carbon-free ceramic composition is chemically neutral to molten metals and aggressive environments, helping prevent contamination and preserve the purity of precious metal alloys. Manufactured using Amerio’s SPECIAL CERAMIC technology, these crucibles are designed for reliable performance and repeated use.

Four Sizes Available

Available in four sizes, with diameters ranging from 54 mm to 107 mm and nominal capacities from 80 g to 700 g. Choose the appropriate size to suit your melting requirements, from small jewellery components to larger quantities of precious metal.
